About The Goldsmith Shop®

A Master Goldsmith who had apprenticed for five years in his native Buffalo, Gary brought his talent, experience and creativity to the creation of stunning one-of-a-kind jewelry designs, including many with a distinctive Island flair. Thanks to his unique vision and personal touch, the business thrived and in 1987, Gary and Brenda moved the store to their current location at 3 Lagoon Road.

This new larger location allowed Gary to expand his goldsmith skills into wax carving, casting and to create our copyrighted Treasures of the Isle™ charms and pendants. These include such cherished treasures of Hilton Head Island as the Harbour Town lighthouse, Liberty Oak, pelicans, blue crabs, herons, palm trees, and Hilton Head's very first Hilton Head Island Map charms.

Today, as the Island's premier fine jewelry store, The Goldsmith Shop has grown into an Island institution. We carry a wide range of Gary's unique designs, plus fine jewelry, watches and gifts from top names like Hearts On Fire,Honora, Simon G and the exclusive Hilton Head Island Destination bracelets. Our staff has more than 125 years of combined experience designing, crafting and selling fine jewelry.

Yet even as The Goldsmith Shop has grown, we've continued to pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, family atmosphere and offering exceptional quality jewelry at fair prices.

That's what brought customers to our store over 35 years ago, and that's what still draws people in today.
